Hello! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Vinney Wong, and I’ve been working as a freelance writer and copy editor for the past five years. I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication, Culture, Information & Technology, with a double minor in English and Professional Writing from the University of Toronto. I also have a Digital Communications Certificate from Sheridan College.

As you can tell, writing is a big passion of mine, and I firmly believe that writing has the ability to connect with others through all walks of life, as well as transcend social and technological boundaries. From social commentary to arts and entertainment to satire, I’ve been able to adapt to many genres of writing, and tell stories that captivate audiences in a variety of ways.

Though my writing primarily focuses on news and editorials, the ever changing landscape of technology and its ubiquity in branding and marketing, has pushed me further into exploring content writing. Companies — small or big — are looking to stand out, and what better way to do that than with value-driven content? My goal as a passionate storyteller is to not only make my own voice heard, but also better my clients’ content to ensure their message is communicated effectively without any errors.

When I’m not writing or editing articles or manuscripts, I love spending time with my dog, gaming, and just hanging out with my family and friends.
